On Sunday, January 13, 2013, the Scott County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle crash on State Road 356 around 3:30 AM. Upon arrival, Deputies concluded that the car was traveling West on State Road 356, left the traveled portion of the roadway, and struck a utility pole. Emergency Responders were able to free the occupants from the car and provide medical assistance to them. Both were transported to the Scott County Emergency Room via ambulance. The driver, Chad E. Clemons, was treated and released. The passenger, Gregory K. Miller, needed further treatment and was transferred to University of Louisville Hospital where he later passed away.
The investigation into this crash remains open.
