Tip leads to four arrest on Boatman Road

On 5/24/2014 Deputies from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office received a tip in reference to drug activity on Boatman Road near Stucker Bridge.

When Deputies arrived on Boatman Road they observed two vehicles a Gray Blazer and a Red Pontiac parked side by side, Deputies also observed a female who went to the trunk area of the Red Pontiac as she was pretending to work on her license plate light.

During the investigation in was found that Leona Vincent and David Morton had made prior arrangement to meet on Boatman Road to complete the drug transaction.

David Morton was arrested and charged with Count I & II Dealing in a Schedule I,II or III Controlled Substance a Class B Felony, Count III Conspiracy to Deal In Schedule I,II or III Controlled Substance and Count IV Maintaining a Common Nuisance a Class D Felony

Lisa Morton was arrested and charged with Count I Aiding in Dealing in a Schedule I, II, or III Controlled Substance, Count II Conspiracy to Deal in a Schedule I, II, or III Controlled Substance a Class B Felony and Count III Maintaining a Common Nuisance a Class D Felony.

Leona Vincent was arrested and charged with Count I Possession of Schedule I, II or III Controlled Substance a Class D Felony, Count II Possession Of Methamphetamine a Class D Felony, Count III Possession of Marijuana a Class A Misdemeanor and Count IV Possession of Paraphernalia a Class A Misdemeanor.

Garland Bowman was arrested and charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance.
